Juventus defender Merih Demiral believes they can give the Champions League a shake this season.
Demiral is working from his way back after an ACL injury.
He told the Bleacher Report: "I think the Champions League is the best competition after the World Cup and the best players in the world play in it.
“The small things decide who win and, of course. Ronaldo won the cup five times. Also he's experienced, which is very important for me and the team.
“I have one memory of him. Ronaldo scored two goals against Udinese and he was training after the game.
“When he saw me, he told me, 'come on, it's time for regeneration'. He also said, 'if you want to be a winner, the result isn't important. You must continue working hard.'
“So we did regeneration training together and that day I understood his passion much better. Also, his character motivates our team.
“From the first day, Dybala was a good friend to me. We get along very well and we always make jokes.
“I always tell him that he's the best player in Argentina. When he has the ball, he's great. He also motivates me more in training."
