Juventus are launching a renewed push for Liverpool boss Rafa Benitez.

The Sunday Times says Benitez has been targeted by Juventus as the Serie A club seek to take advantage of the Liverpool manager's troubled relationship with his employers.

Elements of Liverpool's fractured ownership structure would like to dispense with Benitez's services but are fearful of the cost of paying off the remaining four years of the Spaniard's contract, leading Juve to believe they can present an attractive escape route to all parties.
