Juventus chief Giuntoli seeks Man City meeting over Phillips

Juventus are busy organising an immediate meeting with Manchester City's Kalvin Phillips.

The defensive midfielder is desperate to leave last season's Treble winners for regular game time.

Despite being signed by manager Pep Guardiola less than two years ago, Phillips has rarely featured for City.

Per Gazzetta dello Sport, Juventus are serious about securing Phillips in January.

He is seen as the ideal midfielder for the playstyle of manager Max Allegri, who is a pragmatist.

Juve's sporting director Cristiano Giuntoli will also meet with his equivalent at City to try and hash out a deal.
