Joe Cole is determined to make the most of his chance at West Ham United.

He plans to hit the gym this summer as he looks to become one of the top flight's star turns again.

He said: "When I have played this season, it is still there. But I need to stay fit.

"I will be working hard over the summer and strengthening my body to make sure I can play 30 or 40 games next year."
