Jermaine Pennant says there are no angels in football.
The former Arsenal and Liverpool winger, who has had his fair share of controversial headlines, recently joined League One club Bury.
Speaking to the Daily Mail, Pennant defended his 'bad-boy' reputation by saying nobody is perfect, apart from Reds veteran James Milner.
“No-one's an angel," said Pennant.
“I don't think there's an angel in football — apart from James Milner.
“Everyone else has made mistakes through their career and in life."
Pennant played alongside Milner at Leeds United during a loan spell there in 2003/04.
