Jay Dasilva was happy to feature for Brentford in yesterday's 1-1 draw with FA Cup opponents Wolves.
Dasilva was back for the Bees for the first time since being injured in August.
“It was weird being in the [matchday] routine because I hadn't been in it for so long! But I felt relaxed and just focused on what I had to do when I'm on the pitch," he told the club's website.
“Everyone knows how it's been for the last three years; going through that again was obviously not the best, but I just cracked on and it was amazing to be back out there."
Dasilva added: “I've just been so focused on making a difference. Since my injury before, I still haven't got the best out of myself, so that's my aim: to really push and take my game to the next level.
“I've had to be patient as well. If it was up to me, I would have been back last month! But you've got to be patient because we've got a big second half of the season coming up.
“Obviously I want to play a big part in that, so I've got to just make sure, when my time is ready, I'm ready to take the opportunity."
