Japan No2 Saito catches up with Brighton crock Mitoma, Arsenal's Tomiyasu

Brighton star Kaoru Mitoma has been told that no one has forgotten about him amid his absence.

The winger is out for the rest of the season due to a back problem, which is a blow for the Albion.

However, Japan assistant coach Toshihide Saito was at Brighton to watch their recent game against Arsenal and then speak with Mitmoa.

He also had a chance to talk with the Gunners' Japan defender Takehiro Tomiyasu.

Mitoma, who Saito visited last season as well, was told that he is very much a part of the national team's plans when he returns.

The Argus adds that the plan is very much for him to be back in action by pre-season.
