Liverpool youngster Jack Dunn scored a brace for the U23 side in a 2-1 win over Celtic counterparts in Glasgow on Wednesday.
The 21-year-old is currently on the road towards full fitness following an injury-plagued 2015-16 season.
The U23 side will next play Morecambe at the Globe Arena on Saturday.
