Italy coach Luciano Spalletti says Aston Villa attacker Nicolo Zaniolo must handle the jeers.
Zaniolo played in the Euro qualifying win against North Macedonia, despite being subject of a betting investigation, and was booed by local fans.
Spalletti said after the 5-2 win: "You have to be willing to accept what they do to you, you give it and you accept it. Zaniolo played a very good game, he came in and made 2-3 tackles as he should.
"He's entered strong, as a footballer that he wanted to determine. He recorded with the tears that are characteristic of him.
"We are all-round professionals, we must find the solution to whatever adverse solution we find ourselves in."
