Italy coach Roberto Mancini was left delighted with their 6-0 rout of Liechtenstein.
Marco Verratti, Stefano Sensi, Moise Kean and Leonardo Pavoletti were all on target.
The Azzurri completed a strong opening week of Euro 2020 qualifying, having beaten Finland 2-0 and made seven changes to his starting XI at the Stadio Tardini.
“We had the right approach from the start, the win was probably to be assumed, but it was important to keep the right concentration levels and score a lot of goals," Mancini told Rai Sport.
“It was crucial that we create lots of chances and passing moves to make it a real game. I hope these debutants can stay in the Italy jersey for many years, that would truly be satisfying."
