Fiorentina coach Vincenzo Italiano admits his players surprised him for victory at Napoli.
The Viola blew the champions away 4-1 at the Diego Maradona.
Italiano said: "It's a match where we showed great growth and personality to face this Napoli head-on. We needed to put a bit of pressure on them so as not to allow them to show off their dribbling.
"It can be an important match for us to continue to grow in self-esteem, these victories will certainly do us good.
"We try to do it above all to try to have people who can perform, have minutes, pace and the ability to keep up for more than 90 minutes. It's essential to take advantage of everyone, today we kept Gonzalez out who was too tired, we risked not playing Bonaventura but at the moment we can't do without him. Everyone is contributing and things are going great."
On wing-back Michael Kayode's performance, Italiano also said: "He is unscrupulous, he has personality, he is not afraid of anything and is not afraid of confrontation. Above all he is not afraid of these stages, on a character level he is already ready. He has great margins, if he keeps his feet firmly on the ground he can become a really good player."
