Liverpool midfielder James Milner believes it was business as usual for him during the 4-1 win over his former club Manchester City on Saturday.

The 29-year-old returned to the Etihad Stadium for the first time since making his summer move to the Reds and was a key performer in the surprise result over his old teammates.

"It was strange coming back to the place where I was for five years and had a lot of good times," he said. "But as soon as you step on the field, it is business time.

"It is important we keep this going now and it is a great start to a period where we have a lot of games. Hopefully we can keep the confidence going."
