Internacional striker Leandro Damiao is frustrated missing out on a move to Napoli.

Damiao was wanted by Napoli as a replacement for Edinson Cavani, now of PSG.

"There were negotiations with Napoli, but the inherent difficulties tied in to sponsorship contracts and image rights made it impossible to reach a deal with Aurelio De Laurentiis," agent Vinicus Prates told TMW.

"The club preferred to turn to Higuain, so now Damiao is working hard with Internacional while he waits for a great proposal from Europe."
