Hakan Calhanoglu is delighted with his move to Inter Milan.
The midfielder took aim at former club AC Milan when discussing his Bosman transfer this morning.
The Turkey international said, "(Stefano) Pioli was the only one who really wanted me at Milan. I talked a lot with him, but then he respected my decision."
On new Inter coach Simone Inzaghi, he added: "I like him: in my role, with him, he played Luis Alberto, who in some respects resembles me. I like the attention of Inzaghi, the way he talks to me."
On the prospect of replacing Christian Eriksen, Calhanoglu concluded: "I have great respect for him, he is a player I like very much. We are waiting for him with open arms. He is very nice: I know him through (Simon) Kjaer, from whom I immediately asked for information after the incident. I hope to see him again soon."
