Inter Milan president Massimo Moratti says he's held crunch talks with Claudio Ranieri this week.

Moratti confirmed on Monday that he would be speaking to the 60-year-old about the Napoli defeat, putting his position seemingly in doubt.

However, when quizzed by reporters about the outcome of the meeting, the 66-year-old responded by saying: "Yes, I have spoken with Ranieri.

"Did I clear things up with him? Yes."
