Inter Milan midfielder Mkhitaryan: We should've scored more against Atletico Madrid

Inter Milan midfielder Henrikh Mkhitaryan admitted regret after their Champions League win against Atletico Madrid.

Inter won the first-leg of the round 16 tie 1-0 at San Siro stadium on Tuesday night.

Mkhitaryan later said: "In my opinion we played badly in the first half, we weren't calm, mentally calm.

"We wanted to play as fast as possible, but then we realised that we had time and that we had to take advantage of our game. We could have scored more, but we have to be satisfied with the 1-0.

"Even playing this match we knew that we have the second leg in two weeks, we wanted to do our best to score at least two goals, but we didn't succeed. It will be very tough to play in Madrid, but we will be ready."
