Hamburg are fighting to keep hold of young Japanese midfielder Tatsuya Ito.

Now 20, Ito was brought to Europe by Hamburg two years ago.

BILD says there's a fear of Hamburg losing the winger, with Inter Milan and Manchester City making initial enquiries.

However, HSV management are determined to keep hold of Ito, with coach Markus Gisdol convinced by his potential.

Ito was outstanding for HSV in their stalemate with Werder Bremen on the weekend.
