Inter Milan GM Beppe Marotta has admitted interest in Torino defender Gleison Bremer.
Marotta has confirmed they're seeking a new defensive signing.
He said, “It's more difficult to replace a striker than a defender because there aren't many of the first ones and have high prices. Probably, we'll be forced to do something in defence, but Ausilo, Baccin and I are already considering valid alternatives if one of our defenders leaves.
“Gleison Bremer is a world-class defender who would be useful for many top teams. Surely, we are interested in him."
For coach Simone Inzaghi, Marotta also said: “He will have new signings, but I don't know who they will be. (Henrikh) Mkhitaryan will be official in the next few days, the same goes for (Andre) Onana.
“We are evaluating a bit of everything, also players from the Primavera team who became Italy champions. We know that we must wait for young players and build a strong team. We'll try to offer Inzaghi a strong team from the start of the season."
