Inter Milan chief Lele Oriali says management is delighted with the impact of coach Antonio Conte.

Inter sit top of the table equal on points with Juventus.

Oriali said, “We're surpassing expectations, we didn't think we'd be where we currently are at this point of the season.

“There's still a lot of work to do, but the journey we've been on up to this point has been a positive one.

“We've had a few injuries and there are a lot of games to play, but things are going quite well. We'll try to remain as high as possible, it isn't easy as our competitors are strong.

“Our results speak for Conte. He's hands-on and involved in the project: he arrived with the right mentality and the intention to make an impact at Inter.

“He wants to leave a big mark here. The club's expectations are very high, time is required."
