Inter Milan chief Marco Branca insists a move for Manchester City striker Carlos Tevez last summer was never a realistic option.
Inter appeared favourites for Tevez, but in the end signed fellow Argie Mauro Zarate from Lazio.
"In this market we have done everything we wanted to do - precisely," said Branca. "Tevez? He has never been possible because to purchase him from Manchester City has never fallen below €45 million."
