VfL, having sold Julian Draxler to PSG, could sell again in January as they seek to restructure their finances.

Inter are also eyeing Zenit St Petersburg defender Domenico Criscito.

However, Inter intermediaries say they have a better chance of prising Rodriguez from Wolfsburg at an affordable price.
