Inter Milan captain Javier Zanetti was full of praise for Adriano after he completed his first 90 minutes for the season in their victory over Catania.

"He did well for 90 minutes of running and fighting and we are all very happy for him," Zanetti told inter.com.

"He definitely deserved to score, but at least he has got it into his head that he can still play an important role for this team and that means a lot to us all."
