Inter Milan captain Lautaro Martinez was pleased with their friendly win against PSG.

Inter won 2-1 in Japan on Tuesday.

Lautaro said afterwards: "When you play these games, against opponents of this level, you need both mental and physical strength. We did a great job: in the first quarter of an hour we were in trouble, we couldn't keep the ball, but then we got organised and went on well.

It's an important aspect, because it means that we talk and help each other on the pitch. In the second half we started well, then they scored on a ball I lost. My compliments to the team-mates who came on."

On the partnership with Marcus Thuram, Lautaro also said: "We've only known each other for a short while, he too went to the national team and arrived later. We're working to try and get to know each other better."
