Inter Milan-bound Jovetic described as one of the best technical players upon Man City exit

Manchester City boss Manuel Pellegrini has rated Stevan Jovetic as one of the best technical players he has ever seen.

The 25-year-old Montenegrin striker is on the verge of completing his move to Italian club Inter Milan after spending the past two seasons at the Etihad Stadium.

Jovetic will sign an initial two-year loan before joining the Nerazzurri permanently in 2017 in a deal worth £14.3million and upon his departure, received some kind words from City manager Pellegrini.

"Unfortunately Stevan had to go because he played here for two years," said the Chilean from Hanoi.

"He is a very good player, one of the best technical players I have ever seen, but unfortunately for him he had too many injuries, and that is why he couldn't play a lot of games in a row.

"But I wish him a big future, because I think he will be a big player for Inter if he can continue to play in every game."
