Roberto Mancini is ready to make himself available for the England national team job, according to reports.
The Daily Mirror and the Express are both reporting that the Inter Milan boss is prepared to throw his hat in the ring for the vacancy which has been left by Roy Hodgson's recent resignation.
It is believed that the Football Association are willing to hire a foreign coach to take the reins and Mancini, who was first linked with the role earlier this week, is thought to be open to the job.
The FA reportedly want a foreigner who can speak fluent English and who understands the Premier League - two qualities for Manchester City manager Mancini possesses.
The 51-year-old has a year to run on his current contract with the Nerazzurri but his stay at the San Siro has come under a cloud following the takeover of Chinese investors.
