Lyon are holding steadfast to their asking price for Houssem Aouar.

The midfield schemer is a top target for Arsenal, which have tabled a second offer in recent days.

That's according to Italian transfer expert Nicolo Schira, who stated: "Houssem Aouar is still the first choice of Arsenal, which have offered €38m to Olympique Lyon.

"(OL president Jean-Michel) Aulas asks €55m (add-ons included) to sell the midfielder, who wants to join Gunners.

"AFC are working to sell (Lucas) Torreira on a permanent deal to raise the bid for Aouar."
