Bild's top football journalist Christian Falk believes Jurgen Klopp could be tempted by the German national team job.

Klopp is signed to the Reds until 2024, but fans will be hoping he is at the club for a lot longer, given how he has helped the team become European Champions and then Premier League winners a year later.

Falk was on the Blood Red podcast, and said the German job would be one of the only ways Klopp would be tempted away from Liverpool.

He said :"I am not sure if you can see the contract [through] until 2024. He just signed it so you don't ask him again 'how long do you stay? Please sign a new contract!'.

"He wants just to work and it is good to have this paper, but don't believe in the numbers [2024]! I know that it is a big dream of his to be the coach of the national team.

"But we have a very good coach in Joachim Löw.

"He made us World Champions and he will decide how long he works there.

"But if he quits, you should be a little bit afraid..."
