Barcelona are in contact with Manchester City boss Pep Guardiola.

City's shock two season Champions League ban has put Guardiola's future with the club in doubt. The Catalan has less than 18 months to run on his contract - which also holds a break clause for this summer.

And Okdiario's chief pundit Eduardo Inda, speaking on El Chiringuito, says Barca have made contact with Guardiola about his plans.

"There are intermediaries from Barcelona, who have seen what has happened in Manchester City, and have approached Guardiola to probe the possibility of returning to Barça," stated Inda.

"It may be the only option left for (president Josep Maria) Bartomeu to continue in Barcelona."

Bartomeu is under pressure after sacking Ernesto Valverde when the club were leading the table and also this week's online PR scandal.
