He's 21-year-old, but Under has already collected 14 goals and 12 assists in the 64 games played with the Roma shirt.
We are talking about important, decisive player numbers. During his first year in Rome, he used the first part of the season to settle in, this year he lost several months due to some physical problems. Despite this, he was one of the best players of a troubled Roma season.
Is Under, who has been linked with Arsenal and Tottenham, a player suited to the particular, intense and technical English football?
Innocentin said: "In my opinion, he's a great player who has the ability to play a game in that role. Watching the Premier League after watching a Serie A match, the first thing that immediately catches the eye is the speed and intensity of the game.
"Maybe they miss many passages and concede many goals but they also create the style of game that normally is seen from an Italian team. I know from my point of view players like Ünder are perfect for the PL".
Next year Roma will play in the Europe League, the team will be profoundly changed by Ricky Massara, Franco Baldini and the work of the new coach, but in the summer Cengiz should not be sold, or at least not in the plans of the Roman club.
Roma, unfortunately for the Romanisti, will listen to all offers and any rich Premier proposals would be considered.
Premier League teams, therefore, would do well to bet on Cengiz, because with his characteristics he could quickly adapt to English football, as Innocentin says.
