IN DETAIL: All the numbers around Henderson's Ajax deal

Jordan Henderson was offered to Bundesliga clubs before signing for Ajax.

The former Liverpool captain joined Ajax last week from Al-Ettifaq.

Voetbalzone says the England midfielder's agents also contacted Borussia Dortmund and Bayern Munich. However, they showed no interest in a commitment, just like FC Barcelona. Meanwhile, a deal with Juventus failed due to the player's veto.

Eventually Henderson left Al Ettifaq and joined Ajax. As he had previously terminated his contract in Saudi Arabia, no transfer fee was due.

The 33-year-old will earn 4.5 million euros per season from the Dutch giants. On top of that, a signing bonus of 1.5 million euros has also been accepted.
