Reece Oxford is poised to sign a new long-term deal with West Ham worth more than a £1 million a year, reports the London Evening Standard.
Oxford became the youngest ever player to appear for West Ham's first team when, aged 16 years and 198 days, he made his senior debut in the opening match of last season away at Arsenal.
With his current deal due to end in 2018, the club would have been due some compensation but will be pleased that the teenager, rated as one of the hottest defensive prospects in English football, has decided to stay and sign a new deal.
