The agent of Lazio striker Ciro Immobile has confirmed he turned down Saudi Pro League offers over the summer.

The veteran striker scored twice in Lazio's Champions League win against Celtic this week.

Marco Sommella told Radio Sportiva: "Unlike many others, h preferred to experience evenings like the Champions League over Arabia or the Emirate.

"He gives his soul every match, the problem is having respect and clarity. Two years ago there was Lucca who scored a lot in Pisa and the press wanted him to be a starter for the national team, it makes me laugh. The press puts too much pressure on these kids.

"Market? Now is not the time, a clear choice was made with the Champions League and he has been happy with the Biancoceleste for 7 years. There are many ambitions for a boy who has lived football from the first day in Pescara or Torino. These are emotions that are priceless compared to petrodollars and for this reason they should be appreciated."
