Hull defender Robertson tells Liverpool not to rush for his signature

Liverpool target Andy Robertson has urged the Reds to be patient in their approach this summer.

According to The Mirror, the Hull City left back is viewed as a priority for Jurgen Klopp as he looks to fill a void at the position.

Last season, midfielder James Milner replaced natural left-back Alberto Moreno after the latter fell out of form, which was a clear indication that stocks were depleted.

Robertson, who is in camp with Scotland ahead of their all-important World Cup qualifier against England on Saturday, has admitted that he does not forecast a move happening soon.

"The only thing I can really say is that all the players face uncertainty," Robertson said.

"There will be people moving on but, for now, I'm just focusing on this game (Scotland vs. England) in front of us. I do that because it's so massive for the country.

"All I can do is play as well as I can on the day, and I'll worry about my future after that.

"I'll sit down after this game with the people I need to talk to, and decide if it's right for me to stay at Hull, or if I should look to move on.

"That's not something I'm going to worry about until well into the summer."
