Hughton targeting more Norwich signings but admits it's getting harder

Norwich City boss Chris Hughton says he would like to bring one or two more players in this summer but admits that it's getting more and more difficult these days.

The Canaries have already signed Ricky van Wolfswinkel, Nathan Redmond, Martin Olsson and Leroy Fer this summer and it has been reported that Hughton will return with an improved bid for Celtic striker Gary Hooper.

But the Carrow Road manager is aware that he will have to be prudent with his dealings when the club returns from their pre-season tour of the USA.

"There are always players you can bring in for lesser money but it is getting harder because every club knows the value of the player they are selling," he said.

"Certainly it is more expensive to buy here in England, but you are finding the foreign clubs know the value of players and so look at bigger fees.

"I would like to get everything done early, but business tends to be done later because of the transfer deadline."
