Huenemeier confident Dahoud will make big Brighton impact

Former Brighton defender Uwe Huenemeier is confident Mahmoud Dahoud will make a big impact at Falmer stadium.

Dahoud has joined Brighton on a free transfer from Borussia Dortmund.

Huenemeier knows Dahoud from German football and told The Argus: “He is a very technically gifted player, predominantly with his right foot.

“Good short passing, always well-orientated in the middle of the park.

“He likes to go forward and break lines, even though I wouldn't say that he is super fast.

“On the other hand, he's got a great work ethic.

“He doesn't consider himself too good to go into tackles and do the shabby work.

“He likes to shoot from distance at times.

“He seems to be always well-respected by his team-mates and I've only heard good things about him, even in times when he didn't play too much."
