Newcastle United manager Eddie Howe has indicated that both Jamal Lewis and Karl Darlow will be leaving the club.
Lewis is heading for a loan spell at Watford, while Darlow is a target for Leeds United this summer.
Howe admits that he needs to trim his squad of numbers and wages as the club looks to balance their books to stay in the clear of Financial Fair Play regulations.
Per the Chronicle Live, Howe said: "Jamal Lewis is probably the nearest to securing a loan move to Watford.
“That is closest in the pipeline and that will get done in the next 24 hours. The other two no (Garang Kuol and Harrison Ashby) nothing. Karl is a possible one that might happen in the next few days.
"Karl will certainly go with our best wishes. He has been an incredible servant to the football club. We value him but we can't carry a team of five goalkeepers."
