Houston Dynamo's Bruin scoops MLS Player of the Week for Week 7

Will Bruin has been named the MLS Player of the Week for Week 7 following his hat-trick for Houston Dynamo on the weekend.

The freshman forward was on fire as the Dynamo defeated DC United 4-1 at Robertson Stadium on Friday, scoring with a neat finish in the 4th minute before heading home a Brad Davis cross with four minutes left in the first half after DC had leveled.

Bruin then made it 3-1 with another header, this time from a Davis free-kick just before the hour-mark to clinch the Week 7 accolade from the North American Soccer Reporters.

Bruin's treble of goals was the first hat-trick of the MLS season and came in just his seventh top flight appearance.
