Hostile Man Utd fans force Glazers into Charlton funeral decision

Members from the Glazer family may miss the funeral of Manchester United legend Sir Bobby Charlton, it has been claimed.

Charlton passed away at the age of 86 years old on October 21.

The Daily Star reports the Glazers will not be there to pay their respects in order to avoid any unwanted abuse from supporters.

The Glazers remain the subject of protests from United fans over the management of the club.

After consulting with United officials, it was decided the Glazers should miss the funeral. It is understood the family want the focus to be on Charlton and don't want to make any unwanted headlines from potential run-ins with fans.
