AC Milan striker Gonzalo Higuain has made a formal transfer request as he pushes to leave for Chelsea.
Sky Italia says Higuain, on-loan from Juventus, is pushing to leave with the deal proving difficult to set up.
The Rossoneri have no intention of letting the Argentina international go without a suitable replacement.
Juventus also want to be paid and turned down Alvaro Morata as part of an exchange deal.
Milan and Higuain are only midway through a season-long loan that cost €18m with an option to buy from Juventus in June for another €36m.
