Liverpool skipper Jordan Henderson refused to put the blame on teammate Roberto Firmino for missing a first-half penalty in the 2-2 Champions League draw with Sevilla.
The Brazilian struck his penalty against the post when the score was still 2-1 in favour of the Reds in the first-half.
He was left to rue his miss as the La Liga equalised in the second-half and got away with a point from Anfield.
Henderson said: "People will always miss penalties, as I know from pre-season.
"We had other chances other than the penalty, where we could have been more ruthless. That's football.
"Hopefully we can continue that performance level."
