Liverpool captain Jordan Henderson is close to returning for the Reds as his recovery from injury has stepped up a notch.
Henderson has been out of action for six weeks after breaking a metatarsal and has only just started doing outdoor work at Liverpool's training ground in Melwood.
Henderson is still expected to be out for another four weeks, but having seen a specialist in New York in September, his recovery is reported to be progressing well.
Henderson is yet to play under new boss Jurgen Klopp and will hope that he can feature before Christmas to establish himself as a key figure in the Liverpool team once more.
