Hellas Verona coach Igor Tudor slams ref after Genoa draw

Hellas Verona coach Igor Tudor was frustrated with the match officials after their 3-3 draw against Genoa.

Tudor confessed he felt 'both angry and relieved' at the result.

“I am both angry and relieved," Tudor told DAZN after the match.

“I am happy for the lads, because at one stage we didn't think we'd even get a point. This is football, we could've been 3-0 up, it ended 3-3.

“We had two distractions and a gift from the referee that allowed Genoa back into the game."

The penalty for 2-1 was awarded for Pawel Dawidowicz's handling offence.

Tudor blasted: “Is he supposed to chop his arm off? He is running and the ball hits him. The game was over. I as a former player go crazy when I see penalties like this, you can't run with your arms clamped to your side. This is football, these are details that can change a game and a whole season. I wish referees would speak more to current and former players."
