Antonio Rudiger has admitted he played in a role in Kai Havertz deciding to join Chelsea.
The Blues are on the verge of signing the 21-year-old playmaker from Bayer Leverkusen, in a deal reportedly worth £90m.
Rudiger played a role in Timo Werner also joining the club this summer, and the Germany defender has hinted he has done the same with compatriot Havertz.
Speaking ahead of Germany's fixtures against Spain and Switzerland, Rudiger said: "I made my contribution to Timo.
"I hope that it will happen with Kai too."
