Arsenal attacker Kai Havertz was delighted proving the matchwinner against Brentford.

Havertz struck a header on 86 minutes for the 2-1 win.

He later said: "We wanted to get these points very desperately and we did it and we are very happy.

"It was tough for us, I think we handled it quite well. We conceded an unlucky goal but we believed and did it.

"Everyone in our team all made errors during the season, sometimes when you are a goalkeeper it can look worse. We are all in this together. We spoke about it in the dressing room at half time and turned it around.

"It is nice to score and help the team. Today was very special, so close to the final whistle to win the game.

"Maybe even sometimes these games make you even stronger than winning four or 6-0. The atmosphere was amazing the fans pushed us to the end and they help us as well.

"Everyone is in this together - the players, the staff and the fans."
