Chelsea hero Jimmy Floyd Hasselbaink has backed their move for Tottenham midfielder Luka Modric.
Hasselbaink feels new manager Andre Villas-Boas will have to freshen up his inherited squad this summer.
"Several players need to arrive and some players need to go because Chelsea need younger blood.
"The team needs refreshing and Modric will be a great asset. Chelsea need more creativity in midfield and he is a player who can provide that," he told The Sun.
