Hasenhuttl dismisses concerns over Southampton home form

Southampton welcome supporters back to St Mary's for the first time since early March thanks to a relaxation in coronavirus restrictions, reports BBC Sport.

Saints boss Ralph Hasenhuttl dismissed suggestions his side have struggled at home, pointing to a number of positive results since the summer restart.

"It's a long time since they have been with us so we are happy they are back," said Hasenhuttl.

"I don't see our home form as being too bad to be honest. We had a few difficult games in the past but in past four or five months we have been winning our games at home.

"It was not the problem of home and away, generally we did not play as consistently good as we do now and we are in a much, much better position in the table

"We want to show them [the fans] how we have learned, how good we are and want give them the best Sunday possible."
