'This has been the best season of my career' - Swansea's Ki Sung-yueng

Swansea City midfielder Ki Sung-yueng has rated this campaign as the best of his career thus far.

The South Korea captain, 26, netted his eighth goal of the season in Saturday's 2-0 win over Stoke City which makes him the club's joint-leading scorer alongside Gylfi Sigurdsson and Bafetimbi Gomis.

Ki took a little while to adjust at Swansea and was subsequently loaned to Sunderland last season but is now one of Garry Monk's key players at the Welsh club.

"This has been the best season of my career," said Ki.

"I didn't expect I could score so many goals this season but first off I want to make sure I help the team.

"We want to do well in the next two games because they are massive."

Swansea currently sit eighth on the league table, four points from a possible Europa League spot, with three fixtures remaining in the 2014/15 season.
