Portsmouth boss Paul Hart insists they can still beat the drop, despite yesterday's defeat to Stoke City.
Hart is adamant in the belief his side can still avoid the drop.
He said: "'Nobody's really got away yet, there's a chance that people will come back towards us as well. So I think - and I said this right at the start of the season - there is going to be seven or eight teams in the mix.
"We get two wins on the bounce - which we are very capable of doing - and the picture changes. My only concern now is to keep the players in that sort of confident form to go out and play as they can do.
"You look at the Wigan result yesterday. I still believe we'll get out of this and goal difference will be a massive thing by the end of the season."
