Hannover are set to land Stoke City striker Juan Agudelo.
The USA international, after a second failed UK work permit application, comes off contract this month.
FC Utrecht, who had him on loan for the second half of the season, apparently want him back on a permanent deal.
But Hannover are regarded as favourites for Agudelo.
