Napoli captain Marek Hamsik admits he would've left if coach Rafa Benitez had stayed on.

Benitez was named new coach of Real Madrid last week.

"Did Benitez's choices irritate me? Why would I come and tell you that? Leave it…" said the club captain.

"If Benitez had stayed, would I have left? I can't answer that. In any case, it was a professional rapport and we shook hands when I found out he was going to Real Madrid.

"A lot has been said about the next Coach, but we'll have to wait and see who it is."
